About

Biography

Hi, I'm JP. I'm a Full Stack Software Engineer at Parsons Corporation living in Baltimore, MD. I am currently collaborating with a team building an engine to optimize neural networks. I have built a full stack web app with a FastAPI server, architected a dashboard using TypeScript and React, designed a task queueing and messaging system using Python and Redis, built a CI/CD pipeline, wrote comprehensive tests, designed a containerization ecosystem, and integrated object detection and image segmentation capabilities into the engine.

I have also worked as an Intelligence Analyst (with more of a Software Developer focus) at DarkTower. There I developed custom web scraping and OSINT tools in Python, Bash, and Go according to specific needs of analysts. I also automated the retrieval of 25+ TB of leaked data across multiple Linux VMs, allowing for resident analysts to retrieve and examine 200 times more data than was initially possible in requested time frames. In my time at DarkTower, I analyzed over 3 million leaked files, crafted dozens of SQL queries, created 90+ graphics in Python and Data Studio, wrote 48 technical reports, and gave semi-weekly presentations to Fortune 500 clients.

I am also a former student at the University of Alabama at Birmingham where I studied computational physics with minors in computer science and mathematics. There I reasearched machine learning applications in signal processing to determine locations and causes of energy material degredation.

When I'm not behind a computer screen, I enjoy spending time with my partner, Ruby, walking my dog, Marlowe, creating music, cooking, and studying foreign languages.
